The Raw Deal on Raw Bar

Summer is almost here, which means fresh market-fresh shellfish! Like a fine wine list, a Raw Bar Menu can be overwhelming - consider this your cliff notes. After you've mastered Oyster 101, dive in to our Raw Bars (not literally) around town - Atlantic GrillBlue FinBlue Water GrillOcean Grill, and Strip House.

$1.50 Oysters & Clams During Oyster After Hours

End the night right...at the bar with a big plate of oysters on the half shell. Just $1.50 after 9:30pm 7 days a week at Atlantic GrillBlue FinBlue Water GrillOcean Grill.

RAW BAR 101

Oysters: There are over 100 different types of oysters.  Where the oyster is grown effects its flavor and taste.

  • Eastern Oysters:  These delicious oysters have a distinctive, salty and meaty texture.  The famous Bluepoint oyster is found in this category
  • Pacific Oysters:  Have a sweet and mild briny flavor with a crisp texture.  The meat is a creamy white color that is juicy and tender.

Looking to add even more flavor:   A top notch Raw Bar will offer you cocktail sauce, horseradish, mignonette relish or a house sauce that you  can put on your oysters in whatever style you prefer.

Clams

  • LittleNeck Clams:  The meat of the clam is a bit tougher and has a briny flavor. Still delcious!
  • Cherrystone Clams:  Are larger than LittleNecks and also have a great briny flavor.

Looking to add even more flavor:  Try putting some fresh lemon juice on top of your clams.

If clams and oysters aren't your thing, our Raw Bars also offer some of America’s most popular shellfish...

  • Alaskan King Crab Legs:  Alaskan King Crab Legs are a personal favorite.  The crab legs are moist, sweet, and very rich in flavor.  You will find the best meat in the leg of the king crab.  The meat is snow white and absolute perfection.

Looking to add even more flavor:  Try dipping the meat in a butter sauce.

  • Lobster Cocktail:  One of the most popular dishes in the world.  Lobster tails are mild and sweet in flavor.  The tail meat tends to be firmer than the claw meat and is simply scrumptious.

Looking to add more flavor:  Try dipping the lobster tail in a cocktail sauce.

  • Shrimp Cocktail:  America’s favorite shellfish.  Of course, very popular.  Shrimp is best when ice cold.

Looking at add more flavor:  Try dipping the shrimp into a cocktail sauce and squirting lemon on top too.
